Enchanting Summer is a pink coneflower print by Jacky Parker, photographed amongst the layered planting of a summer garden. Echinacea rise on slender stems across the frame, surrounded by softer flower heads and foliage that gradually dissolve into pastel pinks, greens and silvery blues. Selective focus gives definition to a handful of flowers while others become part of the background, creating an image built around colour, light and depth rather than a conventional botanical study.
Created by professional flower photographer Jacky Parker, Enchanting Summer takes a wider approach than her close-up botanical portraits. Instead of isolating one bloom, Jacky has photographed the flowers as they grow together, allowing overlapping stems, different heights and changing areas of focus to form the composition.
The most recognisable flowers are pink Echinacea, commonly known as coneflowers. Their raised centres and downward-curving petals punctuate the scene, with the strongest pinks concentrated through the middle of the photograph.
Much of the character of this pink coneflower print comes from Jacky’s use of shallow depth of field. The central flowers provide points of definition, while plants closer to the camera and further into the background gradually soften. In places, individual flowers are reduced almost entirely to shape and colour.
Backlighting catches the edges of stems and flower heads, producing fine highlights amongst the cooler blue-green planting.
The result is a piece of Echinacea wall art that still retains the loose, abundant character of a summer border or wildflower meadow. It is recognisably photographic when viewed closely, but from further away the overlapping pastel colours and softened detail give parts of the image an almost abstract quality.
Every Fotoviva artwork is made to order by a professional print team using 12-colour Giclée printing with archival inks. This allows the subtle pastel transitions, fine stems and stronger areas of pink in Jacky’s original photograph to be reproduced with accuracy.
The framed version is printed on premium 200gsm Enhanced Matte Art paper and presented with a precision-cut inner mount within a sustainably sourced wooden frame. This is the most traditional presentation and works especially well if the artwork will sit alongside other framed photography.
Canvas prints are produced on substantial 390gsm polycotton canvas and hand-stretched over 38mm kiln-dried FSC pine stretcher bars. The lightly textured, less reflective surface complements the garden subject and gives the softer areas of colour a slightly more tactile interpretation. Canvas is a good choice where a less formal presentation is preferred.
For a cleaner contemporary finish, the acrylic version places the Giclée print beneath 10mm high-gloss acrylic with diamond-polished edges. A concealed subframe creates a floating-style presentation without visible front fixings. The glossy surface increases perceived colour depth and contrast, bringing additional definition to the Echinacea and the cooler blue-green details surrounding them.

The combination of pink, pale green, soft blue and warm neutral tones makes Enchanting Summer particularly suited to rooms with lighter or natural colour schemes.
As a pink botanical print, it works particularly well in bedrooms alongside warm whites, pale woods, muted greens and restrained pink accents. The landscape orientation also makes it a natural shape for positioning above a bed, sideboard or wider piece of furniture.
In living rooms and dining rooms, larger sizes allow the layers of the garden to become more apparent, while the pale background keeps the composition from appearing too heavy on the wall. It can also work well in a hallway, study or home office where natural subjects and softer colours suit the surrounding interior.
Contemporary, Scandinavian and country interiors are all natural settings for this style of summer flower print.
It can also be combined with complementary photography from our floral prints collection, bringing different flowers, colours and photographic approaches together while maintaining a connection through their botanical subject matter.
This is genuine photographic art by professional flower photographer Jacky Parker. The artwork originates from real flowers photographed through Jacky’s camera and her distinctive approach to natural light, composition and selective focus. It is photographic work rather than an illustration, digitally constructed scene or AI-generated image.
