A Majestic Lighthouse Art Print Bringing Coastal Charm to Your Wall

Nestled on the southeastern tip of Anglesey in Wales, Penmon is a historic village steeped in maritime heritage. Once ravaged by Viking raids in 971 AD, it now stands as a place of tranquility, with its striking lighthouse marking the rugged coastline.

Built in 1838 at Black Point, or Trwyn-Du, Penmon Lighthouse has stood resilient against the elements for nearly two centuries. Originally manned by two keepers, it became automated in 1922 and was later converted to solar power in 1996. Every four to five years, it is given a fresh coat of paint to maintain its bold black and white stripes. At low tide, visitors can walk along the shingle beaches to admire this iconic structure, while during high tide, it can only be reached by boat.

This stunning fine art print captures the lighthouse in an ethereal light, with the waves transformed into a silky mist thanks to an extended 125-second exposure. The result is a peaceful and dreamlike seascape, where the timeless beauty of Penmon meets the power of the tides.

Shipping & Delivery

At Fotoviva Art Prints we can deliver our wall art worldwide, thanks to our print centres in the UK and USA. That applies to our canvas prints, acrylic mounts and framed art. We set a standard delivery cost of £9.95 for the UK. For USA orders please check in your basket once you have added an item for the shipping cost due to a dynamic currency conversion. If you wish to order to other countries please contact us for a shipping estimate.

Dispatch times vary depending on the product type. Most of our prints dispatch in around 5 days but please be aware that each one is made to order so allow a little time for your artwork to arrive. This is not next day delivery of mass-produced art!
