Photographer Richard Burdon recalls “This intensity of colour only lasted for a couple of minutes, so I was pleased to be in position to capture this scene. It’s scenes like this that make rising at 5am so worthwhile and even worth the wetting me and my camera got from a rogue wave moments later!”
It’s a superb photographic capture of the Northumberland coastline with Dunstanburgh Castle which was built in the 14th Century by Earl Thomas of Lancaster. There are some lovely walks to the castle which include spectacular coastline views of the North Sea.

At Fotoviva Art Prints we can deliver our wall art worldwide, thanks to our print centres in the UK and USA. That applies to our canvas prints, acrylic mounts and framed art. We set a standard delivery cost of £9.95 for the UK. For USA orders please check in your basket once you have added an item for the shipping cost due to a dynamic currency conversion. If you wish to order to other countries please contact us for a shipping estimate.
Dispatch times vary depending on the product type. Most of our prints dispatch in around 5 days but please be aware that each one is made to order so allow a little time for your artwork to arrive. This is not next day delivery of mass-produced art!
