This magical piece of wall art is something to behold, with a monumental sunrise over Castlerigg Stone Circle in Keswick, Cumbria. The English Lake District is one of the most scenic parts of the UK thanks to the majestic landscape that features beautiful lakes and ragged mountains. Castlerigg Stone Circle is an English Heritage Site with panoramic views and the mountains of Helvellyn and High Seat in the background. It is a Neolithic stone circle that is estimated to have been built around 3000 BC.
The Lake District is known for its wet and foggy weather so capturing a photograph of the stone circle with a dramatic sunrise as powerful as this was something Doug could hardly believe. He says “Not only have I never had a sunrise like this at Castlerigg, I have never had a sunrise like this, period. It was quite simply the most dramatic sunrise I have witnessed as a photographer. There is no added saturation in the image. This is exactly how it was this morning. (Most of the rest of the day it poured with rain!!). The glow from the sky was incredible.”

At Fotoviva Art Prints we can deliver our wall art worldwide, thanks to our print centres in the UK and USA. That applies to our canvas prints, acrylic mounts and framed art. We set a standard delivery cost of £9.95 for the UK. For USA orders please check in your basket once you have added an item for the shipping cost due to a dynamic currency conversion. If you wish to order to other countries please contact us for a shipping estimate.
Dispatch times vary depending on the product type. Most of our prints dispatch in around 5 days but please be aware that each one is made to order so allow a little time for your artwork to arrive. This is not next day delivery of mass-produced art!
