Wonderful colours and reflections bring this photographic print to life as Thurne Mill is seen reflected in the water on a calm winters morning. A glorious sky dawns across the Norfolk Broads landscape and brings beautiful reflections to the scene.
Norfolk is a county with a considerable number of windmills, and they have become a famous part of the landscape. They were used both for grinding corn/flour, and also for drainage, particularly on the Norfolk Broads. Some watermills also exist, but are less common due to the gentle landscape.
