This location in Skye is popular among photographers because it is such a stunning place of natural beauty. The Cullins are actually much closer to the shore than the photograph indicates but the use of a wide angle lens pushes the mountains into the distance.
The beach is boulder strewn in front of low cliffs. At dusk, if the weather blesses you, the Cullin look superb, ominous and dominating the senses. All lenses point towards them in an effort to catch the timeless mood.
