One scene that sums up a traditional idyllic seaside destination in England is that of Southwold Pier in Suffolk. Reaching out across the shoreline in the picturesque coastal town of Southwold, the pier and surrounding areas have so much to offer for holidaymakers enjoying the seaside. It is a cultural icon in East Anglia and one that draws families to the area all year long.
The original pier was built in 1900 as a landing stage for the Belle steamships that travelled from London Bridge. Recently there have been many improvements to the pier including The Clockhouse which serves tasty paninis and pizzas. You can also find other restaurants with amazing views of the sea and shops with plenty of things to buy. Of course there are also plenty of arcade machines, shows and entertainment for all the family.
This photographic wall art captures Southwold pier at dawn with the sun just appearing over the horizon, creating a mesmerising picture with golden hues bathing the pier and rocks. Buy it as a ready to hang canvas print, glossy print bonded to acrylic, or a high quality poster that you can frame yourself.
