This photograph was taken by Peter Paterson using Velvia film on a Nikon F90X camera early one morning. The frozen trees and wonderful light create an atmospheric scene. Loch Ard is in Central Scotland, to the West of Aberfoyle and nestling in the heart of the beautiful Trossachs region and Lomond National Park. The Loch is fresh water and acts as the source of the River Forth.
