Rising Swan

Captured one morning along the River Avon, this beautiful swan was cleaning itself before stretching its wings in a classic pose. The early morning sun rays add to the surreal image as they burn away the river mist. This is proving to be a popular image and looks incredible on canvas, acrylic or as a glossy poster print.

The Rising Swan photograph was also chosen for the February picture on the official Nikon Calendar for 2008 and was also the Photo of the Day on the National Geographic website
