This stunning piece of wall art is something to behold, with a monumental sunrise over Castlerigg Stone Circle in Keswick, Cumbria. The English Lake District is one of the most scenic parts of the UK thanks to the majestic landscape that features beautiful lakes and ragged mountains. Castlerigg Stone Circle is an English Heritage Site with panoramic views and the mountains of Helvellyn and High Seat in the background. It is a Neolithic stone circle that is estimated to have been built around 3000 BC.

The Lake District is known for its wet and foggy weather so capturing a photograph of the stone circle with a dramatic sunrise as powerful as this was something Doug could hardly believe. He says "Not only have I never had a sunrise like this at Castlerigg, I have never had a sunrise like this, period. It was quite simply the most dramatic sunrise I have witnessed as a photographer. There is no added saturation in the image. This is exactly how it was this morning. (Most of the rest of the day it poured with rain!!). The glow from the sky was incredible."

We think this wall print is one of the most gorgeous images we've seen. The stone circle is supposedly a magical place at the best of times, but combine it with a beautiful sunrise like this and you have an image that just cannot be beaten.
